The Tourism Authority of Thailand London (TAT) is proud to announce their recent success at the 2008 Irish Travel Trade News (ITTN) Awards, making it the second consecutive time that the Thailand has won the award in the “Best Asia/Australasia Destination” category.

The prestigious award ceremony, which was held at the Burlington Hotel in Dublin, Ireland on 22nd January 2009, and was well attended by key executives representing the UK and Irish travel and tourism industry.

Irish Travel Trade News (ITTN) is the only dedicated travel trade magazine for the UK and Ireland. The monthly trade publication is distributed throughout Ireland. The readership includes tour operators, travel agents, air and sea operators, hoteliers and car hire companies.

Thailand has received several nominations and has since scooped two prestigious awards including ‘Best Long Haul Destination’ in 2002, and “Best Asia/Australasia Destination” in 2007 and 2008.
