The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), as the main organization for Thailand’s tourism promotion, celebrated its 50th anniversary on 18 March, 2010. On this very special occasion, TAT hosted the TAT’s Golden Jubilee Media Fam Trip during March, 2010, in which distinguished media persons in Thailand and from around the world were invited to take part. A highlight of the event was a half-day tourism product seminar “Thailand: Today’s Trends, Tomorrow’s Tourism” on 23 March, 2010 to give in-depth information on Thailand’s new tourism products and strategies to the international media.
