
Thailand is the world's largest exporter of tropical orchids with more than 40 years experience. Growers, private sector, educational institute and government organizations have developed many new varieties, technologies and products concerning orchids.
Thailand International Orchid Innovation Show (TIOIS)
TIOIS is Thailand first significant innovative business-oriented trade event in the orchid industry.
Exhibition: The exhibition will feature:

1) new orchid varieties, ornamental plants, and related products,
2) orchid production technologies for the next decade, and
3) innovative ways to utilize orchid and orchid products |
Trade Show:
Thai government offices, private sector, orchid associations and foreign exhibitors will display their orchid or orchid related innovations or services.
Seminar and Business Matching:
The
seminar will be held during 24-25 July 2009 in the Phoenix room at the Impact Exhibition Center. The thematic issues of the first day will be on the novelty of orchid market in Thailand and the world whereas the second day will focus on orchid production innovation in Thailand and the world. There will be prestigious speakers from Thailand and abroad. On the second day, a business matching session will be held in parallel with the seminar.
Orchid Contest and Sale Booths:
There will be an orchid contest from across the country together with sale of orchid plants, ornamental plants and related products.
