8th HUA HIN JAZZ FESTIVAL
June 12-14, 2009

HILTON HUA HIN RESORT & SPA REMAINS EPICENTRE OF ACTION FOR ANNUAL JAZZ FESTIVAL

The luxurious Hilton Hua Hin Resort & Spa is once again the showcase hotel to experience the best of the action and atmosphere for the upcoming eighth Hua Hin Jazz Festival in the picturesque seaside town from June 12-14. The resort backs on to Hua Hin's central beach area and will be just metres from the main musical stage, again providing the perfect meeting point and launch pad for jazz enthusiasts to enjoy the highlights of the event.

The Hilton Hua Hin Resort & Spa will be transforming its spacious grounds to cater to jazz junkies in two distinct locations. The "Jazz In Wonderland" beach garden is just a few minutes away from the main stage and an ideal location to chill out with a refreshing cocktail or a tasty meal from an extensive menu.

The exclusive White Lotus Restaurant on the 17th floor of the resort's main building will also be available to provide a scenic panorama of the entire event while also offering a superb range of food and beverage options. Hilton Hua Hin Resort & Spa General Manager, Markus Schmidt, said the Jazz Festival was a huge draw card for the popular town and once again the resort is leaving nothing to chance to ensure it remains the "place to be seen" for the three days.

"Being right in the middle of the action, our resort has always been a central meeting and socialising point for many of the people who come to the festival," Mr Schmidt said. "We have grown our reputation as being the 'official' central place in town to wind down with a drink and a meal between sessions, and of course many of the artists stay with us."

Among the many international and Thai acts coming to the festival will be headline musician Malene Mortensen from Denmark, a winner of the Danish Eurovision Song Contest. Mortensen will be staying at the Hilton Hua Hin Resort & Spa during the festival and on June 14 will offer an exclusive Jazz Workshop for Hilton guests and enthusiasts along with other key players offering the popular workshops at the resort, including "Moon" from Japan and "Mocca" from Indonesia.

The Hilton Hua Hin Resort & Spa is offering a number of exclusive packages during to Jazz Festival and to make reservations or book a place to participate one of the Jazz Workshops, go to the hotel's website at www.hua-hin.hilton.com
