The Phuket International Boat Show 2010 (PIMEX) will kick off from January 7 - 10, 2010 with 45 leading boat brands displayed on the water at Royal Phuket Marina, Phuket, Thailand.

PIMEX 2010 is now in its seventh year, and continues to grow and expand, promoting marine tourism in Phuket and Asia, and attracting more international exhibitors and visitors each year. It’s also one of the most established annual, international events in Phuket.

With confirmation of participation from many new brands seeking to exhibit at the show for the first time this year, an increase in international exhibitors and visitors is expected.

Lee Marine will exhibit the Ferretti 881 RPH on the water. The largest flagship in the Ferretti range, this particular boatis the only one of its kind in South East Asia. Lee Marine will also showcase the Pershing 80 — a super luxury offering with a cruising speed of 40 knots and maximum speed of 48 knots, this is the first Pershing of its kind in Asia.

Another first for the Phuket International Boat Show and Asia is the display of a 33 metre Mangusta, which is expected to be the biggest boat on display at the show. More firsts for Asia and the show include Windy Boats which will display the Windy 58 Zephyros and the Windy 28 Ghibli in the water.

"PIMEX 2010 remains a key driver in the growth of Thailand's marine industry and we are looking forward to another great year. We are expecting the event to generate more business and stimulate the industry for a strong 2010.
