Roberto Benzi
Roberto Benzi learned music theory from the age of 3 and started playing the piano when he was 4 years old. A perfect pitch, from a very young age, he took his first lessons in orchestral conducting when he was only 10 years old. In 1948, he started his career as a conductor. His life inspired the making of two musical films, of which Prelude to Glory was awarded a prize at the Cannes festival (1950). He directed his first lyrical work, the opera the Barber of Seville in 1954, with the famous coloratura Mado Robin in the role of Rosine. In 1959, he was asked to be musical director for Carmen at the Opéra de Paris when it was performed for the first time ever on that stage. From 1960, he recorded many albums for Philips, for whom he worked exclusively for 15 years, and then also for E.M.I., Forlane and Naxos. In his career spanning more than 50 years, he participated in the most prestigious festivals and published various orchestrations and conducted the most famous orchestras in the world such as the Orchestre de Paris, the London Philharmonic Orchestra, the Accademia Santa Cecilia di Roma, the Wiener Symphoniker, the Moscow Philharmonic, the Nacional Madrid, Israël Philharmonic, Tokyo Philharmonic, etc. (www.robertobenzi.com)


 
Marie-Ange Todorovitch
Marie-Ange Todorovitch studied at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique in Paris and at the 'Ecole de l’Opéra. Winner of many prizes, her repertory includes Rossini, Mozart, Strauss as well as French operas (Carmen, Charlotte, Dulcinée). She has performed in the most prestigious concert halls in France (Opéra National de Paris, Opéra Comique, Théâtre du Châtelet, the Marseille, Strasbourg, Toulouse operas, the Festival d'Aix-en-Provence, Chorégies d'Orange) and in Europe (at the Opera of Anvers, Geneva, La Fenice of Venice…). She has performed concerts with the Paris orchestra in Berlioz’s Francs-Juges, (the judges of the secret court), and the Enfance du Christ (the childhood of Christ) and La Vida Breve (life is short), and with the Orchestre National d'Ile-de-France in Bizet’s Djamileh and the Heure Espagnole (Spanish hour), which she performed also in Tokyo with the Orchestre National du Capitole of Toulouse. The Bangkok Symphony Orchestra
The Bangkok Symphony Orchestra is placed under the patronage of His Royal Highness, Crown Prince Maha Vajiralongkorn. It has been acknowledged as the most prestigious orchestra in the Kingdom of Thailand after its opening concert at the 13th Asian games in Bangkok in 1998. A veritable cultural ambassador of Thailand, the Bangkok Symphony Orchestra has a large repertory of classical and contemporary music and plays a significant role in preserving and highlighting Thailand’s musical heritage as illustrated by Its recordings of Thai classical music and compositions inspired by the Buddhist traditions in honor of His Majesty the King, Through the years and in the course of meetings with other artists, the 70 professional musicians of the BSO have had the opportunity to develop their talent as they have worked with some of the best conductors such as Loris Tjeknavorian, Takuo Yuasa, Massimo Paris, Paul Nadler, Zheng Xiaoying and Michaël Cousteau, Alain Pâris, and great soloists such as Peter Donohoe, Anthony Camden, Dang Thai Son and Karen Vourc’h.
