France is renowned the world over for its High Fashion and its fashion shows. But do you know the photographers who have contributed to this success story?
This year, with La Fête you will discover the world of fashion photography and its diversity. Jean-françois Lepage is one of those photographers who have reinvented this genre. His work at the intersection of painting, cinema and contemporary photography, represents a very different way of seeing the world of fashion and is truly exceptional.
Jean-françois Lepage was born in Paris in 1960. He has a very different approach to fashion photos. His approach is similar to that of the Plastic arts and illustrates a significant change in Fashion photography. Jean-François Lepage worked for big fashion houses like Christian Dior, Comme des Garcons, Masaki Matsushima, Nina Ricci, Le Printemps and Shu Uemura. And his work was published in many international magazines such as Amica Italia, Another Man, Common and Sense, Harper's Bazaar, Mixte, Numero, Purple and Vogue.
