Hip-hop dance is an artistic genre by itself, like contemporary dance and theatre, which is why Battle La Fête is being held in real theatre.

A hip-hop Battle is above all a dance encounter that is organized in a festive spirit. Battles are held all over the world, between professional, amateurs and sometimes also between the very young ( Baby Battle ). During a Battle, individual dancers or groups compete with each other in the various hip-hop categories: b.boying, popping, locking, experimental etc. These encounters in a theatre or in public spaces attract thousands of spectators. Generally the judges are famous hip hop dancers and although a prize is given to the winner, the real joy of the winner of a Battle is knowing that his talent, technique and performing skills could move the audience. Terms and conditions of participation (for dancers): Registration at the venue on the day of the battle between 11 am and 1 pm. Teams of 3 dancers above 14 years.
