The presentation of a Thai cultural showcase is the highlight of the Loi Krathong gala celebrations being held at Lan Tasanapirom Plaza. In addition to demonstrations of traditional Thai floral crafts such as the art of threading floral garlands and making traditional banana-leaf krathong floats, demonstrations of Loi Krathong customs and traditions, Thai cultural performances and the illuminated boat procession staged against the magnificent backdrop of the Grand Palace and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, guests will be offered a rare treat – an opportunity to savour hor d'oeuvres and appetizers similar to those served during the 2003 APEC 2003 gala reception.

Hor d'oeuvres and appetizers similar to those on the 2003 APEC 2003 gala reception menu are served.
Demonstrations of floral art and craft such as the making of floral garlands and krathong or banana-leaf floats.
An exhibition on the Loi Krathong Festival and 'Traces of APEC 2003' Enjoy Thai classical music and dances.
