Preventive measures against the Influenza A (H1N1) virus for the safety and hygiene of MRT metro passengers are being undertaken within the premises of underground stations as well as on trains.
The Bangkok Subway train carriages are being cleaned with germ-killing spray in areas frequently touched by passengers such as seats, handrails and banisters on a daily basis, while the whole train is being cleaned every week.
Metro staff and security guards are being educated on virus preventive measures and are being provided with gloves, sanitary masks and antiviral gel for use during sanitization operations. |
