Thailand was voted 'The Most Popular Destination' by readers of Reise und Preise and was presented with the "Go Asia Award" at ITB 2004 (Internationale Tourismus Borse) - the world's largest tourism fair held in Berlin, Germany, during March 12 - 16, 2004. In the latest survey, 4,105 out of 5,403 or 75.60% of Reise & Preise readers voted for Thailand as 'The Most Popular Destination', followed by Singapore with 53.70%, Indonesia with 50.30%, Hong Kong with 43.80% and Malaysia with 41.40%.

Go Asia is a consortium of national tourism organisations, airlines and 23 travel operators.

Reise & Preise also operates an independent online travel portal which offers destination features, information on travel-related services, including price comparisons, helpful advice and tips for globetrotters. It also conducts online surveys on a wide range of travel-related services. All information posted on the web site is in German.
