FLOODING
Ayutthaya. Pathum Thani. Nonthaburi. Ang Thong. Suphan Buri.
As of 7 November 2006

AYUTTHAYA PROVINCE (Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya)
The following key tourist sites have not been affected by the floods and are operating normally: tourist sites in Ayutthaya Historical Park (a UNESCO-designated Cultural World Heritage site), the island city of Ayutthaya and Wat Chaiwattanaram temple.

To get to the Bang Pa-In Summer Palace, the Bang Sai Arts and Crafts Village, Bang Sai Arts and Crafts Center and the Ayutthaya Historical Park, take Highway 32 (Asian Highway).

Floodwaters in districts on the outskirts of the island city have receded but the situation has not yet fully returned to normal.

PATHUM THANI
The volume of water has decreased. However, provincial authorities and local residents remain vigilant, especially in the provincial centre of Ang Thong (Amphoe Muang) and the districts of Lat Lum Kaeo and Sam Khok.

NONTHABURI
Tourist attractions on the inland of Koh Kret are still flooded. Tourist visits to the area are not recommended at this time.

ANG THONG
Although the water level has receded, the following areas remain largely inaccessible. Trips to tourist attractions in the Ang Thong provincial centre, agro-tourism and cultural ecotourism attractions in the districts of Wiset Chai Chan and Pa Mok and the Bang Chao Cha home-stay village should be postponed until a later date.

SUPHAN BURI
The situation in the Suphan Buri municipal area and tourist sites in Suphan Buri province has returned to normal. In most areas, the extent of the damage and losses caused by the floods are minimal.
