THAILAND IN THE GLOBAL FIGHT AGAINST THE COMMERCIAL SEXUAL EXPLOITATION OF CHILDREN (CSEC)
HOW YOU CAN HELP
JOIN THE GLOBAL FIGHT AGAINST CSEC
The Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children (CSEC) is considered a global crime and child sex tourists are being prosecuted and jailed for their crimes both in Thailand and abroad. We seek your help in reporting these crimes against children.
If you know of any organization, operator or individual that offers sex tours to Thailand, particularly those involving children, please report them to your local TAT office or contact us by e-mail. Your assistance will contribute to the eradication of the sexual exploitation of children.
A single phone call or an e-mail to the appropriate authorities can help prevent the sexual abuse of innocent children. Report any suspicious persons or activities related to CSEC to the appropriate authorities either in Thailand or back in your home country.
IMPORTANT
To help the responsible authorities in their investigation, try to obtain as many specific details as possible. Remember. Each piece of relevant information you provide, no matter how insignificant it may seem to year, can be crucial to successful conviction of the offender.
FOR EXAMPLE-
- What you observed
- Where and When
- Name and Nationality
- Other specific details such as tour company, airline seat number, etc.
