Best Asian Country for a Cultural Travel Experience’ on behalf of the Kingdom of Thailand |

TravelAge West, a leading trade publication on the west coast of the United States, is widely read by travel agents. The publication recently organized the 2006 TravelAge West WAVE Awards, its inaugural travel award competition with a total of 30 award categories. The presentation ceremony was hosted at Mandalay Bay Resort in Las Vegas on 1 June.
The Kingdom of Thailand was among five Asian countries who won the 2006 TravelAge West WAVE Awards for the Editor’s Pick: Best Asian Country for a Cultural Travel Experience award category. The other four winners were China, India, Japan and Malaysia.
Winners of the 2006 TravelAge West WAVE Awards will be announced in the ‘Wave Awards Spotlight Issue,’ which is due out on 18 September.
