ASIA TRAVEL AND TOURISM CREATIVE AWARDS 2006
SPECIAL TOURISM AWARD – FAVOURITE ATTRACTION

The Grand Palace, one of Bangkok’s most awe-inspiring historical landmarks and a reminder of the founding of the capital, is one of eight winners of the ‘Special Tourism Award — Favourite Attraction’, presented in conjunction with the Asia Travel and Tourism Creative Awards 2006.

Jointly organised by Corporate Media Services Pte Ltd., Travel Discovery Channel and Reader’s Digest, these special tourism awards recognise the most popular attractions in the Asia Pacific region.

Winners were determined by responses from tourists and tour operators in the Asia Pacific region who participated in a survey.

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) was one of the participating national tourism organisations.

TAT Singapore represented Thailand at the award presentation gala dinner on 7 September and received the award on behalf of the Kingdom of Thailand.
