Ms. Runjuan was recognised for her outstanding efforts and achievements to promote Thailand as a holiday destination for all type of travellers, especially women. She was among the seven women awarded with the supreme title in different sectors at a ceremony held on 22 December, 2015, in New Delhi.

Radio One 94.3 initiated the Super Women Awards 2015 to recognise and acknowledge hard working, innovative and successful women in various fields. The awardees included fashion designers, women in the health care sector, corporate, sports, environment and science.

Ms. Runjuan said, “I am honoured and privileged to receive this Super Woman award, which reiterates that our society recognises women’s role more and more. The award also comes at the time when TAT emphasises the promotion of tour packages for individual female travellers to Thailand, which made it all the more special.”

She added, “I would like to thank Radio one 94.3 for this great initiative, and I wish this will continue to inspire more women to step up their efforts in contributing to society. At the same time, I hope that this award will receive great support from society.”

Thailand is known to be a women’s friendly destination with a plethora of products and services that suit the needs of women, including world-class spas, great shopping opportunities, beautiful beaches, Thai cooking classes, wellness retreats, and beauty centres. All these qualities make Thailand a favourite destination for all women groups’ holidays as well as solo women travellers.

The close proximity to India and the convenient visa-on-arrival also enhance Thailand’s appeal as an ideal and suitable holiday option for special occasions, including bachelorette parties, birthdays, and graduation celebrations.
