Bangkok, 5 May, 2017 – AccorHotels has opened the new 180-room Mercure Bangkok Makkasan, located with direct access to Bangkok Airport Link Makkasan station and Petchburi MRT station.
The new hotel offers 158 superior rooms, 18 executive rooms and four Executive suites designed with unique train travel inspired themes. All rooms are equipped with a Smart TV, an in-room safe, minibar, rain shower, free WiFi and great views of Bangkok’s city centre, particularly from the executive rooms and suites on the uppermost floors.
The 25sqm executive rooms and 45sqm executive suites feature a separate living room with complementary minibar, espresso machine, iPod dock and BOSE Bluetooth speakers.
Facilities include outdoor pool and fitness centre, three floor-to-ceiling meeting rooms with natural light, an all-day-dining The Station, M Wine lounge, and The Pool Bar.
The latest opening of Mercure Bangkok Makkasan adds to the growing network of AccorHotels’ midscale brands in Thailand which currently stands at seven. The group will add three more new hotels in Bangkok and Pattaya within the next two years.
