The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) would like to inform you that Mr. Tanes Petsuwan, TAT Deputy Governor for Marketing Communications, and Mr. Watcharaphan Bunnag, TAT personnel, have been tested positive for COVID-19 on 10 and 11 April, 2021, respectively, and are currently undergoing medical treatment and self-quarantine for 14 days.
In this regard, TAT would like to inform you that due to this incident, TAT has followed the measures of the Ministry of Public Health including closing the Head Office building to be disinfected, ordering the infectious personnel to strictly undergo self-quarantine for 14 days as per the guidelines of the Ministry of Public Health, and prepare the timeline to report to the medical staff as per the procedure to curb the spreading of the virus.
Moreover, TAT has imposed the working from home procedure for its staff at the Head Office and TAT Bangkok Office during 16-29 April, 2021, to contain the local COVID-19 transmission.
Therefore, TAT would like to inform those who contacted the infected persons in the past 14 days to observe their symptoms and strictly follow the guidelines of the Ministry of Public Health. However, TAT will provide an update if there are any further details.
