New vaccine registration website opens for foreign residents

Expats in all provinces not yet vaccinated can register for their first dose.

Bangkok, 01 August, 2021 – The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) would like to advise that a new website is now available at which expats in Thailand can register for free COVID-19 vaccination.

The site, expatvac.consular.go.th, went live on 1 August, 2021, and is aimed at foreign residents in all provinces across the country who have not yet started the vaccination process.

After registering on the site, applicants will receive an email acknowledging their registration and giving details of an assigned date and place for the first dose of vaccine.

Priority will be given to those aged 60 years and above, those who are at least 12 weeks pregnant, and those who have any of the following underlying medical conditions: chronic respiratory diseases, cardiovascular diseases, chronic kidney diseases, cerebrovascular diseases, any type of cancer during chemotherapy, radiotherapy and autoimmune therapy, diabetes, and obesity.

The website is launched by the Department of Consular Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in collaboration with the Ministry of Public Health.
