Celebrating Chinese New Year 2023 and 48 years of Thailand-China friendship
Continuing an annual tradition of extending Chinese New Year greetings to the people of Thailand and China as well as the world over, high-level Thai and Chinese officials gathered on Sunday to wish health, wealth, and prosperity to all in the Year of the Rabbit.
This special event took place on Chinese New Year on 22 January, 2023, at the Chinatown Chinese New Year 2023 celebrations at Yaowarat Road in Bangkok – the biggest Chinese New Year celebrations in Thailand.
Hong Kong celebrities presented with prestigious Thailand awards
In celebration of the Year of the Rabbit and the resumption of Hong Kong and Thailand’s burgeoning tourism businesses, the legendary Hong Kong celebrities Ms. Michelle Yim, Mr. Simon Yam Tat Wah, and Mr. Roger Wu Wai Chung were awarded the Thailand Privilege Card, Friends of Thailand, and Tourism Authority of Thailand Appreciation Award, in recognition of their exceptionally outstanding services in Thai tourism at Sindhorn Kempinski Hotel.
