Amazing Thailand Passport Privileges” campaign, running from 1 November to 10 December 2024.
AOT rolls out Biometric System to enhance passenger experience across six airports

The Airports of Thailand (AOT) introduced a Biometric Identification System across six major airports, using Facial Recognition technology to streamline passenger travel. Starting 1 November for domestic and 1 December for international passengers, the system allows users to check in without repeatedly presenting documents. Available at check-in counters and self-service kiosks, the system stores passenger data securely, facilitating a seamless journey from check-in to boarding at Suvarnabhumi, Don Mueang, Chiang Mai, Mae Fah Luang-Chiang Rai, Phuket, and Hat Yai airports.
