Krabi, 16 May 2025 – The “Amazing Krabi Green Guide Fest 2025” officially opened yesterday and continues through 18 May at Hat Noppharat Thara–Mu Ko Phi Phi National Park. The opening ceremony was led by Mr. Ampol Silathevakul, Governor of Krabi Province, with Mr Akkarawit Thepasit, Director of Tourism Investment Promotion at the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT).
Co-hosted by TAT, Krabi Province, and partners across the public and private sectors, the festival champions the theme Green Vibes and showcases eco-friendly tourism in action. It marks a key step in establishing Krabi as a global leader in sustainable travel while inviting tourists to take part in shaping a greener tourism landscape. More than 5,000 visitors are expected, with projected local revenue of at least 35 million Baht.
Part of the Krabi Prototype initiative, the festival supports Thailand’s wider push toward sustainability in tourism. As a carbon-neutral event, it features a wide range of activities aligned with the “7 Greens” concept—spanning sound healing and yoga sessions, eco-art installations, local plant-based cuisine, and low-carbon travel experiences. Each element is designed to support local communities, protect the environment, and inspire long-term positive impact.
