TAT and Bangkok Airways Launch “Trat Discovery: Islands and Beyond”

Premium travel to Eastern Thailand made easy with one boarding pass – dine, explore, and win free domestic flights

Bangkok, 6 May 2025 – The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), in collaboration with Bangkok Airways and local partners, has launched the “Trat Discovery: Islands and Beyond” campaign to stimulate tourism in the eastern region of Thailand.

Travellers flying to Trat with Bangkok Airways, FlyerBonus members, and the general public can access exclusive discounts at over 50 participating cafés, restaurants, and accommodations across Trat, Ko Chang, Ko Mak, Ko Kut, and Chanthaburi.

Visitors who spend 200 Baht or more at participating venues can enter a prize draw to win one of ten Bangkok Airways domestic flight prizes. The campaign runs until 20 August 2025, with winners announced on 1 September via Facebook and Instagram: @TratDiscovery.

Trat, home to idyllic island getaways such as Ko Chang, Ko Kut, and Ko Mak, is a paradise for sea lovers and food enthusiasts alike. With its fresh seafood and unique local ingredients, including GI-certified Ko Chang durians and golden Trat pineapples, the region also links easily to Chanthaburi – a city known for its creative cuisine and distinctive local fruits. Together, these destinations reflect the spirit of the Amazing Thailand Grand Tourism and Sports Year 2025 and the national “5 Must Do in Thailand” campaign, offering visitors a complete experience through taste, adventure, culture, shopping, and unforgettable scenery.
