Amazing Thailand Passport Privileges 2025 highlights “Amazing Bag” activity

Offering exclusive privileges to international visitors and showcasing the warmth of Thai hospitality, while promoting special deals from over 300 leading tourism businesses nationwide

Bangkok, 7 November 2025 – The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) is driving momentum into the high season and bringing the Amazing Thailand Passport Privileges 2025 campaign to life with the “Amazing Bag” on-ground activity at Thailand’s major international airports. The initiative showcases the charm of Thai hospitality under the theme “Privilege Beyond Expectation.”

Mr. Artthakorn Sirilatthayakorn, Minister of Tourism and Sports, together with Ms. Natthriya Thaweevong, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, Ms. Thapanee Kiatphaibool, TAT Governor, representatives from Suvarnabhumi Airport, and Pol. Maj. Gen. Kathathorn Kumthieng, Commander of Immigration Division 2, welcomed arriving international travellers at Suvarnabhumi Airport on 6 November and presented them with the “Amazing Bag” – a signature souvenir featuring locally inspired keepsakes designed to offer visitors a memorable first impression of Thailand. The Governor led a similar activity at Don Mueang Airport on 7 November, joined by airport executives.

Ms. Thapanee Kiatphaibool, TAT Governor, said “The Amazing Thailand Passport Privileges 2025 campaign forms part of TAT’s ongoing efforts under the government’s Big Impact, Act Fast policy to stimulate international travel spending and enhance visitor satisfaction. It serves as a strategic driver to boost spending and elevate the travel experience for international visitors during Thailand’s peak season.”

Launched on 1 November and running until 15 December 2025 across Suvarnabhumi, Don Mueang, and Phuket International Airports, the “Amazing Bag” activity has been warmly received, adding a lively and welcoming touch to visitors’ arrival experiences. The initiative has already generated strong engagement, with travellers presenting their passports to receive an Amazing Bag and redeem exclusive privileges via the campaign’s online platform. More than 2,500 international visitors have participated so far, with the top five nationalities being China, India, Russia, France, and the United Kingdom.

Each Amazing Bag features curated souvenirs inspired by the 5 Must Do in Thailand experiences – Must Taste dried Thai mango, Must Try Muay Thai keychains symbolising Thai martial arts, Must Buy Thai textile crafts such as shoulder bags and scarves from Sakon Nakhon and hats made from local fabric from Phrae, Must Seek lifestyle-inspired keepsakes like handwoven dinosaur keychains from Kalasin and naga keychains from Bueng Kan, as well as ethnic tassel keychains from Chiang Rai, and Must See traditional art tokens such as Khon and Phi Ta Khon keychains. Travellers can also scan a QR code to register for additional tourism vouchers, with Lucky Bags containing special prizes worth over 1,000,000 Baht from TAT’s tourism partners.

Now in its second year, the Amazing Thailand Passport Privileges campaign features two highlight activities – the nationwide sales promotion, which offers discounts and privileges for travel products and services from more than 300 leading tourism businesses across Thailand, and the “Amazing Bag” gift initiative.
