July 2024’s Festivals and Events in Thailand

Thailand is organising the “Celebrations on the Auspicious Occasion of His Majesty the King’s 6th Cycle Birthday Anniversary 28th July 2024″ throughout this year. For this month, special cultural performances are scheduled to take place at Sanam Luang in Bangkok.

CF-Hotels: Your Environmental Health Check for Sustainable Thai Tourism

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) partners with Chiang Mai University to introduce CF-Hotels, an online platform designed to help hotels in Thailand measure and reduce their carbon footprint. With 75% of global tourism emissions coming from travel and accommodation, this free tool aims to support hotels of all sizes in adopting eco-friendly practices. The platform calculates carbon emissions based on inputs like electricity usage and wastewater production, allowing hotels to compare their performance and take steps toward sustainability.
TAT and Jeollanam-do jointly promote Songkran and Jeongnamjin Jangheung Water Festivals
