The Ministry of Culture has announced a series of events and activities to celebrate the 241st anniversary of the establishment of Krung Rattanakosin or Krung Thep Mahanakhon (Bangkok), from 21-25 April 2023 at museums, temples and key landmarks in Rattanakosin Island or Bangkok’s Old Town.

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) is celebrating the traditional Thai New Year of Songkran with two major events in Bangkok – the Amazing Songkran 2023 Celebration and the first International Amazing Splash 2023 from 13-15 April 2023 at Chula Soi 5 (Chulalongkorn University Centenary Park and Stadium One) – as well as supporting the hosting of Songkran events and festivities up and down the country.

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) today launched the ‘Amazing Thailand NFTs Season 2’ project, in which Thai tourists and foreign expats can collect NFT (Non-Fungible Token) virtual art items at 20 tourist attractions across the country between now and 30 April and can enjoy privileges and special discounts until 31 July.

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) is pleased to report that Thai restaurant Le Du in Bangkok has been named the No.1 restaurant in Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants 2023, while eight other restaurants in Thailand also made it onto the list to make the kingdom one of the continent’s top culinary destinations.
