Bangkok, 9 May, 2014 – Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit in Bangkok recently unveiled its first phase of newly renovated luxurious rooms – the Grande and Premier Rooms.
The spacious interiors of the Grand Rooms and Premier Rooms, measuring 45 square metres, are the work of Australian designer Diana Simpson. They are furnished and decorated in a contemporary Thai style that draws from a palette of richly coloured woods, marble, and gold and pastel tones to create a relaxed, sophisticated personal space.
The Grande Rooms is light-filled room with a luxurious ambience. It features new classically styled furniture, beautiful fabrics and contemporary elegance, the signature Luxury Collection bed, the marble floored bathroom with separate bathtub and a large shower with distinctly Thai bathroom toiletries by THANN, the award-winning local producer of natural body care amenities.
Meanwhile, the Premier Rooms feature a large window that boasts a spectacular panoramic view of Lake Ratchada or Bangkok’s skyline. The rooms’ interiors are artful with indigenous design accents, dark wood furnishings and the worldly Luxury Collection bed, a reading corner, bathrooms with a bathtub and shower and natural body care amenities also from THANN.
Rooms are wired with the latest technology including a 40” flat screen Samsung LED TV with an IPTV option, a dedicated media hub with HDMi, Bluetooth and a USB port, and 60 mbps high-speed internet access with connectivity for up to three devices.
