The annual TripAdvisor awards honor excellence in hospitality and are only given to establishments that consistently achieve outstanding traveler reviews on the world’s largest travel site. To qualify for the “Certificate of Excellence”, businesses must maintain an overall rating of four or higher out of a possible five, as reviewed by travelers on TripAdvisor. Additional criteria include the volume of reviews received within the last 12 months.
Now in its tenth year, the annual Travelers’ Choice Award is the highest honor a hotel can receive from the TripAdvisor community. It is based on the reviews and opinions of millions of travelers, and is awarded only to a very select and distinguished group of hotels.
