Bangkok, 17 October, 2014 – Bangkok retains its title as the “Best Leisure Destination in the Asia-Pacific” for the second consecutive year, according to the annual Readers Poll conducted by Business Traveller Asia-Pacific magazine.
The award was received by Mr. Kitsana Kaewtumrong (in photo, left), Director of the International Advertising Publicity Division of the Tourism Authority of Thailand , at a special presentation luncheon held on 26 September at the Conrad Hong Kong Hotel.
Thailand has also received another top award, the “Best Business Hotel in Bangkok” won by the Grand Hyatt Erawan hotel. Altogether, Thai tourist destinations, hotels and airlines figured in 8 of the 57 categories of the Awards.
