Bangkok, 11 November, 2014 – Thailand’s property developer, Proud Real Estate, has scheduled to open the one-billion-baht Vana Nava Hua Hin as Asia’s First Water Jungle theme park on 1 December this year.
Ms. Proudputh Liptapanlop, Chief Executive Officer of Proud Real Estate, said the park was created under the company’s aspiration to provide one of the best family leisure destinations in Asia, offering some of the world’s best slides and attractions with highest safety standards and most updated technology, while promoting the surrounding community and preserving the existing ecosystem.
The 20 rai (3.2 hectares) Vana Nava Hua Hin is to open with a range of rides and slides from Canada-based WhiteWater West Industries. The park’s highlights will include The Abyss, which is poised to be Thailand’s largest slide and Vana Nava Falls, which towering at 31 meters is Asia’s tallest manmade mountain waterfall, as well as LED lighting in all the pools.
The park safety measure is under supervision of US-based Ellis and Associates and Vana Nava Hua Hin’s General Manager, Mr. Mike Fijas. Mr Fijas has over 27 years of experience in the business and also the former Chairman of the World Waterpark Association Safety Committee.
Vana Nava Hua Hin is also set to be one of the most efficient waterparks when it comes to water usage. The utilisation of grey water management and micro irrigation system will enable the park to use nearly 100 per cent of its water with only few percentage of wastewater.
With more than 200,000 trees on the premises, the park is also positioned itself as an “oasis of fun” that enhances Hua Hin’s image as a premier family destination.
Vana Nava Hua Hin will be working closely with its partners – TRUE, Chang, Honda Automobile and Muang Thai Life Assurance – in order to position itself as one of Asia’s finest family leisure destinations.
TRUE is sponsoring the Slide Jungle, a large tower with 6 of the fastest slides coming off of it, resembling the speed with which this telecommunication company delivers 3G and 4G connections across Thailand. With a fibre optic ring installed at the park, guests are able to enjoy ultimate connectivity.
Chang is providing “moments together made memorable” at the Surf Zone, a venue well positioned to become the new entertainment hub of Hua Hin, consisting of a Double Flow Rider as well as a bar, a game arcade and DJ. This section will be open late into the night.
Muang Thai Life Assurance is offering family entertainment at the Rain Fortress, a large play structure with 7 slides and an immense bucket which tips over a large amount of water every 4-5 minutes, splashing everyone with laughter and happiness. In its Thai Smile Club customers can also expect a number of promotions and discounts throughout the year.
Honda Automobile (Thailand) is supplying the waterpark with vehicles run on gasohol, bringing awareness to the importance of sustainable development. Both being true believers of creating positive benefits for the community as well as the environment, Honda Automobile and Vana Nava Hua Hin will be working together to ensure maximum results.
Daily admission to Vana Nava Hua Hin starts at 1,000 Baht per adult and 600 Baht per child. A Family Package for 2 adults and 2 children is at 2,600 Baht. Operating time during regular seasons is 10.00 – 18.00 hrs. and 10.00 – 21.00 hrs. during peak season and on public holidays. For more information, visit: www.vananavahuahin.com.
