Bangkok, 16 January, 2017 – The Continent, Bangkok’s lifestyle boutique hotel has recently been voted as Thailand’s Leading Boutique Hotel for 2016. The Continent received this accolade from the World Luxury Hotel Awards which celebrate excellence in all areas of the global travel and tourism industry. Two further awards for the Continent’s Italian restaurant and for its modern design were also conferred on the hotel.
The Continent is a well-known hotel in Bangkok thanks to its unique design, popular bars and great location in the Asoke area. The hotel’s restaurants are also very successful and have picked up several awards and accolades. The Medinii Italian restaurant was voted as having the Best Italian Cuisine in Asia by the World Luxury Restaurant Awards. Medinii offers contemporary Italian food with an Asian twist and the restaurant is equally famous for its amazing views of downtown Bangkok.
The striking design of The Continent has also been recognised and the hotel has been named Asia’s Top Design Hotel for 2016 by Now Travel Asia. The award honours venues with cutting edge contemporary design. Visitors love the travel-themed rooms and the fact that many of the Continent’s facilities are located on the top floor of the building.
