Nai Lert Flower and Garden Art FairThe annual Nai Lert Flower and Garden Art Fair is organised to showcase the best in garden design, flower sculptures, authentic and modern floral craftsmanship as well as encouraging young local artists through arts and cultures.

Held annually for the past 30 years, the 2018 edition will take place at Park of Nai Lert in the heart of Bangkok, during 2 to 4 February, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The three-day Nai Lert Flower and Garden Art Fair 2018, also held as part of the action-packed Amazing Thailand Tourism Year 2018, is designed to feature the following ‘X Factors’:

Flowers x Art

The outdoor flower and art show that features sculptures from renowned local artists, namely Pongsatat Uaiklang, Prajak Supantee and many more, together with flower sculptures designed by leading florists, such as, Sakchai Guy, Sakul Intakul and Chayaporn Tometh.

This event offers a platform for talented young artists to showcase their skills and creativity, under three competitions:

  • Flower Sculpture Competition “Legacy of Thai Flowers”
  • Garden Design Competition “Celebration of the Seasons”
  • Wedding Showcase Competition “Love In Bloom”

The 1st prize of all three competitions is a trip to London to visit the Chelsea Flower Show as well as a trophy and cash reward.

The jewel in Park of Nai Lert’s crown is the Heritage Home, which not only is a timeless legacy in itself but also displays evolution of flowers from traditional craftsmanship through modern day innovation. Not to be missed is the highlight feature of the event, the 450-square-metre floral carpet-believed to be one of the largest floral carpet ever created in Asia.

Flowers x Fashion
Most celebrated Thai fashion and beauty brands will showcase limited edition range, designed exclusively for this year’s event. Those who seek one of a kind pieces will find tote bags by Asava, and kaftans by Vatanika. The Art Market unveils rare items, where emerging and established artists gather under one roof.

Flowers x Taste

Food plays an important part in Thai culture, bringing the family as well as the community together. At Nai Lert Flower and Garden Art Fair 2018, a total of  20 food vendors from across Thailand have been handpicked to offer only the best of the best to the visitors. In-house culinary team of experts have also created special floral recipes exclusively for the event, from refreshing cocktails to sumptuous edible flowers dishes.

Flowers x Play
A variety of workshops for all ages from floral cooking class, floral fragrance concoction, flower colour painting, and flower arrangement class by Sakul Intakul, a world-renowned local floral expert, to name but a few.

With over 100 years of history and tradition, the Park of Nai Lert is one of Bangkok’s best kept wonders. The Park spreads across 24,000 square metres of lush grounds with the highlight, the Nai Lert Park Heritage Home, retaining its grandeur with golden teak wood floors, pillars, and century-old trees, as well as showcases private collections of antiques and artefacts since the World War II until present.
