Bangkok, 23 January, 2018 – With an exhilarating combination of the much-celebrated Thai martial art of Muay Thai or Thai boxing and the bright lights of sports entertainment, the final round of Thai Fight Bangkok is set to thrill spectators in the Thai capital this coming Saturday, 27 January.
Proudly supported by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), Thai Fight Bangkok will take place at the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration on Dinso Road. Admission is free, and gates will open from 4 p.m. onwards.
Mr. Yuthasak Supasorn, TAT Governor, said, “TAT’s ‘Open to the New Shades’ communication concept that now spearheads the promotion of Thailand worldwide aims to, among other things, get visitors exploring the kingdom’s fascinating culture. The sport of Muay Thai is uniquely Thai and Thai Fight Bangkok is an event not to be missed.”
The world-class Thai and foreign fighters who will take to the ring at Thai Fight Bangkok will be competing for the coveted the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej and H.M. King Maha Vajiralongkorn Bodindradebayavarangkun Cups.
The event will also be broadcast live on Thai TV Channels 3 and 33 from 6.20 p.m. to 8 p.m. and then on Channel 28 from 8 p.m. to 9.45 p.m. Online streaming will be available on LINE TV.
Representing Thailand in their respective weight classes will be Saenchai P.K. Saenchai Muay Thai Gym alias the Boxing Legend of Siam, Saensatharn P.K. Saenchai Muay Thai Gym alias Warrior of Khon Kaen, Saiyok Pumphanmuang Windy Sport alias Brutal Master of Elbow, Chanajon P.K. Saenchai Muay Thai Gym alias Warrior of the Elephant City and P.T.T. Petchrungrueng alias the Shark of Chonburi.
