There will be no compensation for winning entrants who are unable to join the trip during the set dates.
Once confirmed, these bloggers will soon be coming to Thailand and joining an all-inclusive familiarisation trip. The winners will be feted during a tailor-made five-day, four-night trip to Thailand’s Eastern region. From 25 to 29 May 2018, they will travel to experience the ‘Colours of the East’ on offer in Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat provinces, with each destination packed with an endless array of vibrant Thai local experiences.
TAT Newsroom will book one port-to-port return air ticket (on Thai Airways International or similar) for winners residing outside Thailand, so they can join the trip. These winners are responsible for their own transport to and from the nearest Thai Airways International gateway airport to meet their long-haul flight to/from Thailand originating from these international airports.
The TAT Newsroom Blogger Thailand 2018 is under the supervision of the TAT International PR Division. Each winning selection was based on a decision by a panel of four highly experienced judges with specific expertise in the travel, blogging and photography fields. Judging criteria is based on how each submission addresses the ‘Open to the New Shades’ theme and category of the competition. Any submission can be used in TAT’s promotions and/or advertisements supporting Thailand’s tourism sector in Gastronomy, Arts and Crafts, Nature and Beaches, Culture and Way of Life.
