Phuket Boat Incidents: Buddhist ceremony in remembrance of the victims

At 08.00 Hrs., this morning, a Buddhist ceremony in remembrance of those who lost their lives in the recent tragic boat incidents was held at Phuket’s Chalong Pier.

Attending the ceremony were Phuket Provincial Governor Mr. Norraphat Plodthong, Mr. Zhou Haicheng, Consul-General of the People’s Republic of China in Songkhla, and officials, representatives and figures from the public and private sectors.

For family members and friends of the victims, the ceremony provided much-needed support and comfort in what is an extremely difficult time for them.
