TAT, Six Senses celebrate Global Wellness Day 2020

Bangkok, 12 June, 2020, at 19.00 Hrs. – The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) New York Office, in cooperation with the Six Senses Hotels Resorts Spas in Thailand, is celebrating the “Global Wellness Day 2020” with an online health and wellness activity.

Available via Zoom, the “Tourism Authority of Thailand & Six Senses – Let’s Celebrate Global Wellness Day” will take place on 13 June, 2020, at 09.00 Hours EST and 06.00 PST.

Health and wellness aficionados can take part in the online Thai wellness event, featuring an exclusive Hatha yoga and singing bowl meditation session curated by Six Senses.

Hatha is an ancient yoga practice that includes several gentle asanas (yoga postures) and pranayama (breathing exercises). It brings peace to both the mind and body in preparation for meditation. Energy Mapping uses the singing bowl technique to spread healing energy to all the seven chakras of the body.  It is designed to release blockages – the root causes of body aches, sickness, and unbalanced emotions.

The sessions will be led by the 4th Generation Ayurvedic Doctor, yoga expert and Reiki Master Dr. Aneesh, and Six Senses Wellness and Spa Director Khun Keerana Sripong Punku.
