TAT New York partners Organic Spa Media for inaugural virtual summit

Consumer aficionados, travel advisors and media interact with the brightest minds in wellness industry.

Bangkok, 30 October, 2020 – The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) New York Office and Organic Spa Media, a leading authority in wellness travel, natural beauty, and eco-living, jointly launched ‘The Wellness Experience,” a two-day virtual summit that took place from 20 to 21 October, 2020.

The event featured a roster of leading industry experts to allow wellness seekers to gather virtually to enjoy health driven activities, exchange ideas and share knowledge from the comfort of their own homes.

The event received a total of 1,497 registrations with 587 participants the first day and 487 participants on day two, for a total of over 1,100 viewers.

It allowed consumer wellness aficionados, travel advisors and media to interact with some of the brightest minds in the industry.

The TAT New York Office and Organic Spa Media carefully curated Thai wellness content, featuring three distinctly innovative content pods: Wellness Experiences, Wellness Education Panels, plus a Wellness Brand Showcase. This was meant to inspire those seeking the latest updates in wellness travel, media looking for the next industry trend, or consumers exploring a healthier lifestyle.

TAT New York also worked in partnership with The Siam Hotel, Kamalaya Koh Samui, and Six Senses Yao Noi to curate pre-recorded wellness experiences; such as, Thai Boxing demonstrations, guided meditation, yoga, and singing bowl meditation sessions, to name just a few.

The TAT New York Office also helped organise a live discussion with wellness industry experts to discuss ‘The Future of Sustainability in the Shadow of a Pandemic’ during a Wellness Education Panel on 21 October, 2020, strengthening Thailand’s position as a leader in sustainable and responsible tourism.
