Bangkok, 17 January, 2021 – The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) is extending a work from home approach for staff at the TAT Head Office and all domestic offices until 31 January, 2021, with the reopening date rescheduled for Monday, 1 February, 2021.
TAT previously asked its staff to work from home from 4-17 January, 2021, in line with the Thai government’s several nationwide measures under the ninth-extended Emergency Decree to contain the local COVID-19 transmission. During work from home, TAT staff have been instructed to adhere with the policy of the Thai tourism industry to provide and maintain quality services.
At the same time, they are advised to strictly follow the DMHTT precautions to prevent the spread of COVID-19: D – Distancing, M – Mask wearing, H – Handwashing, T – Temperature check, and T – Thai Chana contact tracing application.
TAT would like to take this opportunity to remind all to also take the DMHTT precautions and be a part of the nationwide effort to contain the local COVID-19 transmission.
TAT apologises for any inconvenience should international and domestic tourists be unable to contact our offices during this time of difficulty. TAT remains contactable for tourism information 24/7 at the TAT Contact Centre 1672.
