The Ministry of Public Health, the Department of Disease Control, and relevant authorities continue to conduct routine disease surveillance and preventive health screening as precautionary measures. Relevant authorities are closely monitoring the situation in India, where the latest reports indicate that no new cases have been detected and all identified close contacts have tested negative, indicating no further spread beyond the two confirmed cases.
As part of these measures, strengthened surveillance and monitoring are being implemented at international points of entry and in key tourist areas nationwide. Health authorities continue to closely monitor developments and coordinate across sectors to ensure the continued safety of residents and visitors.
These preventive actions are designed to safeguard everyone in Thailand and to ensure that travel and tourism activities can continue safely and as normal. Thailand remains open for travel, with tourism services and operations functioning without disruption.
Members of the public are encouraged to follow basic health practices, such as regular handwashing, staying informed through official channels, and consulting health professionals if they experience any symptoms after travel. These common-sense measures help protect individual and community health and support Thailand’s commitment to being a secure and enjoyable destination for all travellers.
