Bangkok, 25 March 2026 – The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) announces the official opening of the 44th edition of the Thailand Tourism Festival (TTF) 2026, reinforcing its role as the country’s flagship domestic tourism platform and encouraging Thais to explore meaningful travel across Thailand.

The opening was presented by Ms. Natthriya Thaweevong, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports and Chairperson of the TAT Board of Directors, together with Ms. Thapanee Kiatphaibool, TAT Governor, joined by Provincial Governors and Vice Governors, members of the TAT Board of Directors, senior TAT executives, and key public and private sector partners.

Ms. Natthriya said, “This year’s festival reinforces our commitment to positioning Thailand as a premier global destination while inspiring Thais to explore their own country with pride. The event highlights stunning attractions, warm Thai hospitality, authentic lifestyles, and immersive experiences that the TAT is ready to deliver via the ‘5 Must Do in Thailand’ strategy.”

Echoing this, Ms. Thapanee Kiatphaibool added, “This annual festival aims to inspire Thai people to explore their own country and rediscover the many charms of their homeland, fostering a renewed sense of connection to Thailand. The nine main zones directly support regional development and create new opportunities for local Thai communities, while promoting the country’s diverse regions and their unique attractions.”

This year, the TAT’s flagship domestic tourism platform has been designed to turn discovery into real travel inspiration, presenting a distinct perspective on Thailand’s destinations, identities and tourism experiences. Together, all nine unique zones create a journey across the country that blends culture, cuisine, creativity, entertainment and sustainability, encouraging visitors to explore further beyond the event.

The five-day festival embraces the Bio-Circular-Green Economy (BCG) Model, promoting environmentally friendly tourism that leverages local identities to generate value, support communities, and strengthen Thailand’s position as a world-class destination, while its ‘Zero Waste to Landfills’ initiative, now in its fourth year, ensures that no event waste reaches local landfills.

TTF 2026 runs from 25 to 29 March 2026, from 10.00 to 21.00 Hrs, at Halls 1–4, Ground Floor, Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre, Bangkok. Admission is free. Visitors are encouraged to use public transport, with direct access via MRT Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre Station (Blue Line) and bus No. 136.
