Bangkok, 1 September 2026 – TAGTHAi, Thailand’s national tourism platform for travel planning, tourism services and digital payments, has partnered with KASIKORNBANK (KBank), Siam Piwat, The Mall Group and MBK Public Company Limited to extend TAGTHAi Easy Pay across participating shopping malls. The collaboration combines cashless payments with visitor privileges while creating more opportunities for tourist spending across Thai businesses.
Mrs. Kanokwan Boonchai, Chief Executive Officer of TAGTHAi, said, “Technology is increasingly central to how international visitors plan, pay and travel. TAGTHAi Easy Pay extends the role of TAGTHAi beyond travel planning by providing a secure and convenient payment option while connecting tourist spending more directly with businesses across Thailand.”
TAGTHAi Easy Pay forms part of TAGTHAi’s broader digital tourism platform and is designed specifically for international visitors. The e-Wallet service enables users to exchange money into Thai baht, top up their e-Wallet and make payments by scanning Thai QR Payment codes nationwide.
The five-partner initiative brings TAGTHAi Easy Pay into major shopping destinations, linking digital payments with visitor privileges and directing more tourism spending into Thailand’s retail economy.
Tourists can accumulate same-day spending at participating shops within partner malls to receive rewards based on spending levels. Benefits include a 300-Baht discount on the TAGTHAi Bangkok Pass and a complimentary BTS One-Day Pass valued at 150 Baht.
As the digital payment partner, KBank provides the secure payment infrastructure behind TAGTHAi Easy Pay, enabling international tourists to make QR payments more easily across participating businesses. The partnership strengthens Thailand’s cashless tourism ecosystem while helping channel visitor spending more efficiently to retailers, merchants and tourism-related businesses.
Siam Piwat, operator of major Bangkok retail and lifestyle destinations including Siam Paragon, ICONSIAM and Siam Center, supports the initiative by extending TAGTHAi Easy Pay privileges across its properties and connecting international visitors with shopping, dining and tourism experiences.
The Mall Group, which operates leading shopping centres including The Mall Lifestore, Emporium, EmQuartier and Emsphere, is integrating the initiative across its properties, giving international visitors access to retail, dining and lifestyle businesses while expanding opportunities for merchants to benefit from tourism spending.
MBK Center, a major shopping destination in central Bangkok, brings together more than 1,000 Thai SME shops, restaurants and services alongside cultural experiences including Khon performances and Muay Thai. TAGTHAi Easy Pay supports spending across these businesses while adding another cashless payment option for international visitors. MBK Center was recently ranked fifth among Bangkok’s Top Attractions for 2026 by TripAdvisor.
International tourists can access TAGTHAi Easy Pay through the TAGTHAi application, available on the App Store and Google Play, with further information at www.tagthai.com.
