TAT appoints two new deputy governors in annual management reshuffle

Bangkok, 6 October 2026 – The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has announced the annual management reshuffle, with two new deputy governor appointments and three portfolio changes, effective from 1 October 2026.

Ms. Thapanee Kiatphaibool, TAT Governor, said the appointments support TAT’s direction for 2027 under “The Year of Transformation”, as the organisation takes on a more integrated role across Thailand’s tourism ecosystem. The management structure aligns key areas of market development, tourism products, policy, digitalisation, communications and administration with TAT’s focus on quality, value, competitiveness and wider distribution of tourism benefits.

Ms. Suphida Onbanchong has been appointed Deputy Governor for Administration, following her role as Executive Director of the Governor’s Office.

Ms. Parichart Boonclai has been appointed Deputy Governor for Marketing Communications, following her role as Executive Director of the Marketing Services Department.

Under the portfolio changes, Miss Pattaraanong Na Chiangmai has been appointed Deputy Governor for the Domestic Market, following her previous role as Deputy Governor for International Marketing – Asia and the South Pacific.

Mr. Kittipong Prapattong has been appointed Deputy Governor for International Marketing – Asia and the South Pacific, following his previous role as Deputy Governor for Digitalisation, Research and Development.

Mr. Akkarawit Taphasit has been appointed Deputy Governor for Digitalisation, Research and Development, following his previous role as Deputy Governor for Administration.

Three deputy governors continue in their current portfolios: Mrs. Chiravadee Khunsub, Deputy Governor for International Marketing – Europe, the Americas, the Middle East, and Africa; Mr. Nat Kruthasoot, Deputy Governor for Tourism Products and Business; and Mr. Chuwit Sirivajjakul, Deputy Governor for Policy and Planning.

The appointments reflect TAT’s continued focus on organisational readiness and leadership continuity as the agency responds to changing market conditions and evolving traveller demand.
