At PATA Travel Mart 2025, TAT was honoured for excellence in digital marketing and travel photography as Thailand shines with eight awards in total

Bangkok, 28 August 2025 – The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has been presented with two prestigious honours at the PATA Gold Awards 2025 during a ceremony held last night at the PATA Travel Mart 2025, hosted at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center in Bangkok.

TAT received the PATA Gold Award in the Marketing category for Best Integrated Digital Marketing Campaign (Destination) for its “The Love Season” initiative. The recognition affirms the success of TAT’s digital communication strategy in effectively engaging global audiences and strengthening Thailand’s image as a year-round destination.

The second accolade was the PATA Gold Award for Best Travel Photography, awarded to the image “The Hidden Romance of Sam Roi Yot.” The photograph reflects the natural charm and diverse appeal of Thailand’s attractions, capturing the imagination of international travellers and the judging panel alike.

The honours were received on behalf of TAT by Mr. Nithee Seeprae, Deputy Governor for Marketing Communications. He said “These awards are a testament to the creativity, dedication and innovation of the Tourism Authority of Thailand in promoting our nation’s tourism assets to the world. They reinforce our commitment to positioning Thailand as a global leader in meaningful travel, while inspiring travellers to discover both the well-known icons and hidden treasures of our country.”

Thailand’s overall presence at the awards was further strengthened by the achievements of the Designated Areas for Sustainable Tourism Administration (DASTA), which won six accolades, including the PATA Grand Award for sustainability and social responsibility for its “Sustainable Cultural Heritage Preservation of the Ban Na Ton Chan Homestay Community Enterprise” project. DASTA also received PATA Gold Awards in the areas of climate management, destination resilience, tourism for all, women’s empowerment and youth development.

In total, Thailand received eight awards at this year’s event, underscoring the country’s leadership in sustainable tourism development and innovative marketing. The collective success highlights Thailand’s ability to set benchmarks on the international stage and further cements its reputation as one of the world’s most inspiring destinations.
