The Rap Bua festival in Samut Prakan is a unique, centuries-old festival celebrated at Wat Bang Phli Yai Nai. Held annually at the end of Buddhist Lent, the event features the symbolic “lotus receiving” ceremony, where lotus flowers are thrown in honor of the sacred Luang Pho To image as it floats along the Samrong canal.
