Thai Cabinet approves updated visa measures pending Royal Gazette publication

TAT’s Thailand visa update as of 16 July 2026 notes that new entry rules are awaiting publication in the Royal Gazette.

Thailand’s Cabinet has approved updated details for visa exemption and Visa on Arrival measures. The update will replace the 60-day visa exemption measure with country-specific entry categories, including 30-day visa exemption, 15-day visa exemption, or Visa on Arrival, pending Royal Gazette publication and official implementation.
