Ubon Ratchathani Candle Festival 2022 set to wow visitors

The Ubon Ratchathani Candle Festival 2022 itself runs from 11-17 July, and will be centred around Thung Sri Mueang, a public park located in the heart of the city in front of City Hall. Five district groups will be showcasing their way of life and identities through cultural performances, candle casting and candle-making demonstrations, the sale of local products, and other activities.

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) together with leading Indian bridal media brand WeddingSutra staged the ‘Amazing Thailand Wedding Summit 2022’ in Mumbai and New Delhi on 25 and 27 May, 2022, aiming to grow the lucrative Indian wedding and honeymoon market to Thailand.
Thailand’s entry requirements from 1 July 2022: Thailand Pass removed

From 1 July 2022, the Thailand Pass registration scheme and a health insurance requirement for foreign visitors will be lifted. Travellers will only need to show proof of either a certificate of vaccination or a negative RT-PCR or professional ATK test result within 72 hours of travel.
TAT stages successful Amazing Thailand roadshow to South Korea

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) embarked on the first roadshow to South Korea in two years since the COVID-19 pandemic. The 15-17 June, 2022, roadshow included high-level TAT meetings with leading Korean operators, one-on-one business sessions between Thai and Korean tourism businesses, and a press conference.
