TAT premiers ‘Meaningful Relationship’ advertising film to the world
The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) today premiered its latest “Meaningful Relationship” advertising film at the World Travel Market (WTM) 2023 and has scheduled a broadcast from 6 November 2023 to 31 October 2024 through offline and online media platforms as well as the TAT’s own social media accounts including those of the 29 TAT offices around the world.
Thailand attended ASEAN–Japan Tourism Ministers’ Special Dialogue

Thai PM chairs special airport welcome for Chinese and Kazakhstani tourists
Prime Minister H.E. Mr. Srettha Thavisin presided over the welcoming ceremony at Suvarnabhumi Airport, one of four key airports holding momentous celebrations to welcome the first groups of tourist arrivals from the People’s Republic of China and Republic of Kazakhstan under the temporary tourist visa exemption scheme, which is effective from today until 29 February 2024.
Thailand fully reopens from 1 October 2022
The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) is pleased to advise that as of today international travellers to Thailand will no longer be required to show proof of vaccination or ATK test results, and a longer length of stay will be on offer, signalling the completion of the kingdom’s full reopening to international tourism.
Thailand’s entry requirements from 1 July 2022: Thailand Pass removed
From 1 July 2022, the Thailand Pass registration scheme and a health insurance requirement for foreign visitors will be lifted. Travellers will only need to show proof of either a certificate of vaccination or a negative RT-PCR or professional ATK test result within 72 hours of travel.
