Hilton to partner with Prince of Songkla University to train hospitality staff

Phuket, 30 November, 2016 – Hilton Worldwide recently signed a school partnership agreement with Prince of Songkla University Phuket Campus to enhance training in the kingdom’s hospitality industry.

A Hilton Class programme will leverage the hotel group’s world-class expertise and resources and ensure that students get vital hands-on training that will become part of the university’s four-year Bachelor of Business Administration in Hospitality Management curriculum. This agreement is the second such academic partnership in Thailand and the forth in South East Asia.

The programme will see up to 35 third-year students from the Hospitality Management selected for the two-year Hilton Class program and Hilton Class as part of their training. Hilton expert will also host guest lectures and presentations and arrange site visits and internships at Hilton hotels in Thailand for a period of two to six months.
