Bangkok, 27 April, 2017 – Thai Airways International (THAI) has announced the adjustment of its 2017 summer flight schedule, which see the Thai flag carrier adding new routes and increasing frequencies on regional destinations through code share flights with THAI Smile.
The new codeshare flights are: the Bangkok-Siem Reap route with 14 flights per week, effective 1 March; the Bangkok-Kota Kinabalu route with seven flights per week; and the Bangkok-Chittagong route with four times per week – both effective 26 March. Meanwhile, the codeshare flights on the Bangkok-Luang Prabang route with four flights per week will be effective as of 1 October. All routes are operated with the Airbus A320-200 aircraft.
In addition, more flight frequencies have been adjusted on the Bangkok-Phnom Penh, from 14 to 18 flights per week, effective 26 March. The Bangkok-Penang route will be increased from seven to 10 flights per week, effective 5 May.
THAI will continue to operate existing codeshare flights on regional destinations with THAI Smile in the 2017 summer programme, including Jaipur, Lucknow, Chongqing, Changsha, and Zhengzhou.
