THAI Smile wins three TripAdvisor Awards

Bangkok, 18 April, 2017 – THAI Smile Airways, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Thai Airways International (THAI) has won three awards in the first ever TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice Awards for Airlines. These awards are for: Best Airline in Thailand; Best Regional Airline in Asia Pacific and 8th place in the listing for the World’s Top Ten Best Airlines.

The TripAdvisor Airline Awards are determined based on the quantity and quality of travellers’ reviews and ratings on the TripAdvisor website over the past 12 months. These take into account, outstanding service, quality and value for money.  The reviews of THAI Smile on the TripAdvisor site cited the airline’s safety record, on-time service and friendly staff as reasons for rating the highline so highly.

THAI congratulated THAI Smile Airways on its awards from TripAdvisor claiming it proves that people are responding to the airline as a quality, full-service regional airline with reasonable prices. They also expressed a commitment to maintaining high standards and implementing further developments in future.

From its primary hub at Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) and secondary hub at Don Muang (DMK), THAI Smile offers Premium and Premium Economy on domestic routes such as Chiang Mai, Phuket, Hat Yai, and other Thai destinations as well as international services to Myanmar, Cambodia, India, Macau and China.
